This is a skull wall art piece I did for my older son's room. It was really easy to do but easier to get supplies for it around Halloween time.
Directions:
1. I used a large black felt skull from the Dollar Tree for $1.00 and hot-glue gunned it to a white Bristol paper.
2. I glued blue and white open card-stock paper from Michael's behind the Skull's eyes. They had a sale at Michael's and the paper was 25 cents each for 12x12 sheets.
3. Then I used silver thumb tacks or thumb nails and stuck em around the skull like a studded border. I got about 300 tacks from the Dollarama for $1.00.
4. For the finishing touches I added some silver around the skull and inside the nose, cracks and mouth using a silver marker that I purchased from the Dollar store for $2.00.
Purchased the large black frame from Ikea for $6.00.
All in all, I think I did a good job. Now where the hell am I going to put all this art? Thankfully Alix has a big room lol. This project cost me about $11.25, excluding the cost of the hot glue gun and glue which was $7.98.
To the left is the finished product.
Have fun creating.
