DIY Name Wall Art "Draeden"

This is the name wall art I've done for my youngest son's room since he has more space on his walls. His name is Draeden, so I needed 7 frames for each letter. I found these wood frames at the Dollarama for $1.50 each. Got those, ripped the back support stand off them since they'll be hanging, not standing upright. I painted the frames all white. Then used open-card stock paper from Michaels for each frame. I chose to do blue and green various patterns and arrange it blue, green, blue, green, etc. I then traced out the black letters the same way I did for my other son's name. I used a 12x12 black sheet of open card stock paper, folded it in four, and used each 3x3 inch section for a letter. I traced the letters free-handed, then cut them out with scissors. I then glued them on the open card stock paper and inserted them. It would have been better to just get white frames but I couldn't find any cheap big ones in the size I wanted! In all it cost me $10.50 for the frames and $3.00 for the open card stock paper. You can do it too. All you need is frames, paint, paper, glue, scissors and some nails to hang them! Way cheaper than buying framed letters which can cost anywhere from $10-20 per letter!!

Have fun creating!
