DIY Skeleton Figures - "Little Minions"

Almost every DIY project I make comes from the Dollarama, which is hilarious cause you'd never think you could get such awesome stuff from a dollar store!? I call these my "little minions". I bought them for $1.25 each. They're made of ceramic and are on a painted wood stand from Michaels which was like a $1.00 or 2. If you wanna make your own, read below for directions to do so. It's super easy, you just need a little creative talent.
Items Needed:
  1. Ceramic Figurine - Dollarama or Michaels - $1.00-2.00 each
  2. Wood Plaque Base - Michaels - $1.00-2.00
  3. Paint - Bottle or Tubes - Dollarama, Walmart or Michaels - $1.00-3.00 each
  4. Modge Podge - Michaels - $4.00-6.00
  5. Tiny Paintbrushes - Michaels or WalMart - $1.00-$10.00
  6. Sponge Applicator - Michaels - $0.25 - $2.00
  7. Silver Marker or Pen - Michaels, WalMart or Dollarama - $1.00-2.00
  8. Hot Glue Gun - Michaels, WalMart - $3.00 - $6.00
Directions:
  1. Paint the figurine and wood plaque whichever color you wish and let dry for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Apply a thin layer of modge podge using a paintbrush or sponge applicator all over the figure and wood plaque. Let dry for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Paint designs on the figurine using a thin paintbrush or paint pen. Let dry for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Apply a final layer of thin modge podge to the figure and let dry at least 20 minutes.
  5. Using the hot glue gun, glue the base of the figure to the wood plaque. Press lightly but firm for about 30 seconds. Let dry and then display where desired.
