When I was at the Dollarama, I spotted this wood figure in the shape of a skeleton and thought, "hmm, that would be cool to paint". So I took it home and my son Alix, picked the colors for it. He also made me add a top hat and heart to his chest out of felt. Do you want to make your own?
Directions:
1. Purchase a wood skeleton from your local Dollar Store or Michaels. Mine cost $2.00.
2. Using acrylic paint, paint your desired look and colors onto the skeleton man. You could even make it a skeleton woman if you wanted to.
3. Once your done, used some modge podge and paint a thin layer of it all over the entire figure. This will help to ensure the paint stays in place, doesn't chip or fade.
4. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes then apply any other desired decorations such as fabric, 3D pieces, etc.
5. Hang wherever you'd like using drywall nails or screw. I hung mine in my son's room as it's skeleton/skull themed.
